Its greatness

The Armorique Regional Nature Park covers 125,000 hectares in Finistère and has 44 member municipalities. Its surface area is approximately 1250 km2.

The territory is varied, mixing rock, land and sea. It has an important maritime façade, notably with the Crozon peninsula and the islands of the Iroise Sea. The Aulne estuary and the Brest harbour form the transition between sea and land and the Arée mountains add a mountainous touch with rocks emerging from the vegetation.

Its wildlife

Life is rich in this nature park. You can find many species such as otters and beavers or bottlenose dolphins and salmon. Beautiful birds can be seen. We will be happy to give you more information about this park and the diversity of wildlife it contains.

Activities to do

As the Armorique Regional Nature Park stretches from the coast inland in Finistère, there are many activities to enjoy. Fishing, water sports, walking, cycling, horse riding... You have a wide choice for your holiday. In addition, there is a whole cultural heritage to discover: museums, houses and other unmissable sites to visit to immerse yourself in the Breton culture.
